A local United States Congressman will try to get to the bottom of the source of leaked private documents through a hearing today.
Republican U.S. Representative Mike Kelly is joining with colleagues on the Ways and Means Oversight Committee to hold a hearing focused on The Pandora Papers beginning at 10 a.m. in Washington, D.C.
The Pandora Papers are roughly 12 million leaked documents disclosing financial information of world leaders, billionaires, and others including money held in offshore accounts.
Witnesses will be called to testify at this hearing with Kelly seeking “potential solutions to both protect American taxpayers’ information and prevent bad actors from taking advantage of the American financial system”.
