Purdue returned to the top spot in The Associated Press men’s college basketball poll this week, moving up two spots after Temple knocked off No. 1 Houston during the weekend. Alabama is now #2, followed by Houston.
Butler graduate Ethan Morton is one of the key players for the 19-1 Boilermakers.
In the women’s poll, for the first time in the 47-year history of the women’s rankings, no team from Texas was in the Top 25. With Texas falling out, it ends an 835-week run that had at least one team from the Lone Star state in the rankings. South Carolina remained a unanimous Number 1.
