The outbreak of the avian flu has continued into the fall. As of this week, over 50 million birds have died either directly or indirectly from the highly pathogenic influenza.
Officials with Penn State Extension say poultry farm owners should maintain a line of separation around your flock, prevent your flock from wild birds, and avoid areas where wild birds may congregate.
