With spring and warm weather comes prom season, and several local schools will offer the traditional event to students this weekend.
The Butler Senior High School Prom will take place on Friday, May 10 from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Butler County Community College’ Founders Hall. The theme this year is “Enchanted Garden.”
Mars Area High School will also have their senior prom on Friday, May 10 at 6:45 p.m. Their event begins with a prom walk at 5 p.m. at the High School auditorium and then continues at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh with the theme “New York, New York.” Knoch High School is also holding their prom on Friday from 6 to 11 p.m.
Seneca Valley’s Prom will take place on Saturday, May 11 beginning with a grand march at 5 p.m. before moving to Stage AE in Pittsburgh from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. with a theme of “Empire State of Mind”. A-C Valley is also holding their prom on Saturday, May 11.
