A Sunday afternoon fire destroyed part of the Middlesex Township Municipal garage.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center just before noon for a fire at the garage, which is in the 700 block of Saxonburg Boulevard.
Dispatchers initially reported heavy smoke and fire at the garage when crews first arrived.
A few municipal vehicles were destroyed in the blaze.
An investigation is expected to begin Monday.
