Motorists in Cranberry Township should expect travel delays this weekend as a result of a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation project.
According to PennDOT, a portion of Freedom Road will be closed to all vehicular traffic between Executive Drive and Commonwealth from 10 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday.
The closure will allow for paving and switching of lanes on the Turnpike Bridge portion of the roadway.
Detours will be posted and drivers who are able, should seek alternative routes around that area.
