Butler City Police are asking for help locating the woman involved in a recent incident of alleged assault with a screwdriver in downtown Butler.
According to Butler City Police Chief Bob O’Neill, 57-year-old Rachelle McMillan is wanted on a charge of felony aggravated assault.
Shortly after 1 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the 200 block of West Wayne Street to find a Butler woman with blood on her face and head. Witnesses told police that McMillan stabbed the victim five to six times in the head with the screwdriver then fled the scene.
The woman’s condition is not believed to be life-threatening however she was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital for further treatment. McMillan is described as an African American female about five feet four inches tall and approximately 170 pounds. Anyone with information about the location of McMillan is asked to contact the Butler City Police or call 911.
