We now know more information about a crash early Monday that injured three people.
According to State Police, 40-year-old Patricia Huntington of Slippery Rock was driving south on Route 8- near the Route 528 (Prospect Road) intersection- when her Toyota Corolla crossed the center line. Huntington’s vehicle collided head-on with a Chevy Silverado driven by 59-year-old David Phillips of Renfrew.
Phillips and his passenger (58-year-old Gina Severino also of Renfrew) were both trapped in the truck and had to be cut out by firefighters. Huntington was also trapped and had to be extricated.
All three were taken to Grove City Medical Center for treatment. Huntington was charged with a driving violation.
