Pennsylvania State Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. Sunday near the football stadium parking lot.
Police say that an officer was called to the scene after a reported robbery. When he got on scene, the suspect allegedly flashed a knife. That prompted the officer to fire one shot, although the suspect was not hit.
The man then fled the scene, but was taken into custody by police a short time later.
The suspect’s identity has not been released by police.
