An investigation continues after a multi-vehicle crash that occurred earlier this weekend in nearby Lawrence County.
According to our news partners at WPXI, a pickup and a sedan were involved in a crash that occurred around 5:30pm on Saturday on Route 422 in Slippery Rock Township.
Authorities say that the pickup rolled over after the collision near Fox Road. The driver of the car was extracted from the vehicle after her legs were pinned under the dashboard. She was taken by ambulance to a local hospital after inclement weather cancelled an attempt to fly her for treatment.
Police also say that the unidentified driver of the pickup fled into nearby woods before he was apprehended.
