A Pittsburgh man is facing charges after he allegedly struck a pedestrian last week in Grove City.
According to the Grove City Police, an officer was flagged down by an unidentified pedestrian just before 7:30pm on Friday (May 16th). Authorities say that the pedestrian, who was uninjured, had been struck by a car at an unknown location.
Officials later apprehended the driver, 27-year-old Tyler Saunders, who was found to be impaired and in possession of a controlled substance. Police charged Saunders with Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Controlled Substances.
