Police in Freeport are warning residents to be cautious following a string of attempted vehicle thefts.
The Southern Armstrong Regional Police said over the last two weeks there has been a number of attempted vehicle thefts.
All of the vehicles were unlocked, and the one successful theft had left the keys inside.
Police say they got into a short pursuit with the suspects, but the conditions did not allow it to continue.
Police remind residents to lock their cars and take valuables out of their vehicles.
