The Butler Township Planning Commission is recommending a zoning change in order to allow a local business to move into a longtime former event facility.
The Planning Commission heard from representatives of Kenmac Rentals and Sales at their meeting Tuesday night about plans to relocate to the former Butler Vagabonds in Lyndora.
Since that property and three other adjacent parcels are zoned Residential, a change to Commercial zoning is necessary.
This change will next be considered by Township Commissioners at a public hearing on December 16th at 7 p.m. Kenmac would like to be operational by March 1st of next year.
