Different parts of our listening area may be affected by a planned power outage on Saturday, November 2, 2109.
First Energy, which includes West Penn Power customers, is planning on shutting off power in areas of Butler, Slippery Rock, West Sunbury, and Dubois.
These areas are part of three different outages, of which two will affect these locations. That means Butler, Slippery Rock and West Sunbury will likely not have power between 8am-2pm. Dubois will not have power between 8am-12noon.
According to the company, work will be going on to upgrade facilities.
