The Pitt Panthers defeated Boston College 24-16 last night at Acrisure Stadium. The Panthers went with sophomore Nate Yarnell at quarterback, their third of the season. He threw for 207 yards and two touchdown passes. Running back Rodney Hammond, Jr. rushed for 145 yards, including a 66-yard run for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. Pitt improved to 3-8 this season. They have one game remaining this season. They visit Duke next Saturday.
Penn State will host Rutgers Saturday. Kick-off is noon.
