The ACC released its 2024 football schedule Wednesday. The upcoming season will be the first for the new 17-team conference. Pitt will open their schedule August 31st at Acrisure Stadium against Kent State before hitting the road to Cincinnati. The Panthers return home for one of their seven home games to host West Virginia for the 107th edition of the “Backyard Brawl” on September 14th. The Pitt home schedule will also feature ACC newcomer California, Youngstown State, Syracuse, Virginia and Clemson. Road games include North Carolina, SMU, Louisville and Boston College. The Pitt-Syracuse game will be a Thursday night prime time game on ESPN.
