The Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the visiting St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday, the final 4-3.
Leading the Bucs offensively was outfielder Connor Joe who collected two hits, two RBIs and one run as well as third baseman Ke’Bryan Hayes who collected his second home run in two games. Saturday’s win was Pittsburgh’s fourth straight. Saturday’s game also featured eight different pitchers for the Pirates.
The Buccos will look for the series sweep when they host the Cardinals again on Sunday. First pitch is scheduled for 11:35am.
