The Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the Baltimore Orioles 10-4 in exhibition baseball Tuesday. Chris Archer made his first appearance of the season for the Bucs, and had four strikeouts in his two innings of work. He walked the opening batter of the game, then struck out the side in the first inning. He did not allow a hit. Josh Bell hit his first home run of the spring, as did second baseman Kevin Kramer. Adam Frazier made his first start of the spring, and had an RBI double.
The Bucs visit the Boston Red Sox today in Fort Myers at 1:05pm. The game will be televised on ESPN.
