The Pittsburgh Pirates fell to the Boston Red Sox in preseason action on Saturday, losing by a final of 12-3.
Jameson Taillon pitched four innings for the Pirates, and allowed eight hits and four runs while striking out three. Offensively, Alfredo Reyes collected two hits and one run for the Buccos.
The Bucs will return to action on Sunday, and will take on the Baltimore Orioles. First pitch is set for 1:05pm.
