The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 2-1 last night at PNC Park. It was the 12th consecutive time the Pirates have lost to the Dodgers. The Bucs managed only three hits in the game. Adam Frazier singled in the first inning, extending his hitting streak to 12 games. Tyler Anderson took the loss, allowing both Los Angeles runs over six innings.
Pirate first baseman Colin Moran was hit in the right hand by a David Price pitch in the fifth inning and he had to leave the game. He had just returned to the Pirates lineup from a groin injury.
The Pirates and Dodgers complete their three-game series today at 12:35pm. WISR will join the game following the Noon News.
