The Pittsburgh Pirates have signed left-handed starting pitcher Martin Perez to a one-year free agent contract. The deal with the 32-year old veteran is worth $8 million. Perez has spent nine of his 12 seasons in the big leagues with the Texas Rangers, where he won a World Series ring this past season. He was an All-Star in the 2022 season.
