Five of the six PIAA baseball and softball western semi-final games were washed away Monday and have been rescheduled for today, including the Knoch-Donegal game.
Deer Lakes will meet Cambridge Springs at Slippery Rock University today in the Double-A softball. Game time is 1pm. That game will be followed by Elk County and Cochranton in Single-A semi-final at 3pm.
One game was played Monday. Neshannock defeated Quaker Valley 7-2 in a rematch of the WPIAL championship. Neshannock will play in the state title game Friday at Penn State University
against the winner of the Eastern semi-final game between Neumann-Goretti and Loyalsock Township. That game was suspended Monday in the 4th inning with Neumann-Goretti leading 5-0.
