Pheasants will be released in the Butler County area just in time for the last two weeks of the hunting season.
The birds were kept as a part of a breeder flock to make up for any losses from disease.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission will release the pheasants next week between Wednesday and Thursday across six regions.
