The Pittsburgh Penguins visit the Washington Capitals tonight. Face-off is 7:30pm. WISR pre-game will be 7pm. The Pens are 4-0-2 on the road this season.
Derick Brassard will miss his sixth consecutive game with a “lower-body injury.
The Pens have recalled left-winger Zach Aston-Reese and Garrett Wilson from their Wilkes-Barre/Scranton team. Aston-Reese has scored six goals in his first 11 games for the Baby Penguins, including a hat trick Sunday. He appeared in games last season. Wilson has six goals and 11 points in his first 11 games. He is serving as the Baby Penguins captain this season. He has yet to make his Penguins debut.
