The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Philadelphia Flyers 4-1 last night. Evgeni Malkin had a goal and an assist to lead the Pens. Malkin has four goals and eight points in his team’s seven games since the NHL Christmas break.
The Pens moved back to within two points of an Eastern Conference Wild Card position with their 20th victory of the season. They host Vancouver Thursday.
