Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin have been the top two point-scorers in the NHL since January 1st. Crosby has had 30 points, Malkin 29. Malkin has scored the most goals in the NHL in that time span. An ownership group led by film and television producer Jerry Bruckheimer and billionaire businessman David Bonderman have submitted an application to the NHL to bring an expansion hockey team to Seattle.
