The Pittsburgh Penguins host the New York Islanders tonight in the first game of a home-and-home series this week. Face-off is 7pm. Pre-game on WISR is 6:30pm. The Pens may be without defenseman Kris Letang due to a “lower body injury” as well as forward Derick Brassard, who missed the final game of the Penguins road trip over the weekend.
The Pens are coming off a Canadian road trip with victories in a four games. They are leading the Metropolitan Division by one point over Carolina.
