The Tampa Bay Lightning defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-1 last night in Florida. The Penguins lost for the third time in a row and went 0-for-4 on power plays in the game. Their scoreless streak on man-advantages has extended to 12 games, the longest in team history. They are now 0-for-their-last 34 on the power play.
The Penguins didn’t score in the game until the final minute. Jake Guentzel netted his 10th goal of the season. Tristan Jarry stopped 25 of 28 shots from Tampa Bay. His record fell to 8-9-2 overall.
The Pens visit the Florida Panthers Friday night.
