As part of National Bullying Prevention Month, Pennsylvania’s top law enforcement official has released a new resource for students, parents, and educators.
Attorney General Josh Shapiro’s TeenTALK Report contains recommendations for preventing bullying as well as when and how to intervene.
This report also summarizes feedback received during the TeenTALK sessions hosted by the Attorney General’s office around the state during the 2018-19 school year.
Students who participated in those sessions outlined three particular areas to focus on improving with regard to bullying prevention and mental health services in schools. Those areas are student mental health services staffing, data reporting gaps, and funding to support positive initiatives.
