A southern Butler County festival planned for later this month has been canceled.
Organizers of Penn’s Colony say that the event will not take place due to a significant staff shortage.
The Saxonburg event was originally set to run September 16th and 17th as well as 23rd and 24th.
Organizers felt that customer service would have suffered as a result of the staff shortage. They do plan for the festival to return in September of next year.
