An event early next week will give residents a chance to get their REAL ID.
PennDOT announced they are hosting a series of REAL ID days at drivers license and photo centers across the state.
In Butler, the REAL ID day will be held this upcoming Monday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Driver License Center in the Point Plaza.
During that time, the center will be exclusively processing REAL IDs.
In order to get a REAL ID, you’ll need to bring certain documents:
- Proof of Identity: original birth certificate or certified copy
- Proof of Social Security Number
- Two Proofs of Current Address: driver’s license, vehicle registration, or utility bill.
- Proof of all Legal Name Changes
The REAL ID deadline is May 7th.
