The Penn State football team has been ranked #3 in the final College Football Playoff rankings released last night. It is the highest ranking for the Nittany Lions since the CFP made its debut a decade ago. Penn State will meet #1-Oregon Saturday night in the Big Ten championship. The winner earns an automatic berth in the 12-team post-season tournament.
The Pitt men’s basketball team will visit Mississippi State tonight. Tip-off is 9:15pm. The Panthers are currently ranked inside the nations top-20 and are 7-1. Mississippi State is 6-1.
