The Pens made two trades Wednesday, sending Teddy Blueger to the Vegas Golden Knights for a 2024 third-round pick and a defensive prospect, then sent their 2023 second-round draft pick to the Predators, whom they beat Tuesday in Nashville for Mikael Granlund. He has nine goals and 36 points in 58 games this season. Granlund is a forward who is signed through the 2024-25 season, but at a hefty $5 million per year price tag.
