Drivers traveling on I-79 southbound should expect delays this morning due to the closure of the interstate from a motorcycle accident.
Sometime between 5:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. this morning police were called to the I-79 Cranberry interchange for a one vehicle accident.
Details on the accident aren’t clear but crews have shut down I-79 and are directing drivers to take Route 19.
No word on injuries of the motorcyclist.
