The statewide unemployment rate for October remains unchanged at 3.4 percent while the national rate holds steady at 4.1%.
That is the 13th straight month where PA unemployment stayed at the same rate, which continues the longest streak on record.
Pennsylvania’s professional and business services jobs dropped by 4,500 in October but leisure and hospitality reached record high levels.
