This week is Labor Rights Week and the United States Labor Department is raising awareness about fair and safe workplaces.
According to the Department’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration, all workers have the same rights to fair pay regardless of immigration status.
All workers also have the right to report possible violations without retaliation. Employers need to understand their responsibilities and meet their obligations.
