Police have released more information about an accident that sent one person to the hospital earlier this week.
The two vehicle crash happened Monday night around 6:30 p.m. on North Main Street Extension near the Clearview Mall.
A pickup truck driven by 71-year-old Raymond Heitzer of Butler was in the southbound lane when he tried to turn into the mall. Police say that’s when Heitzer collided with a vehicle driven by 60-year-old Sandra Hawryliak of Butler.
Hawryliak was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with a minor injury. Police also say Heitzer was injured in the crash but refused transport to the hospital.
