Police are providing more information on a crash that sent one person to the hospital over the weekend.
The two vehicle accident happened in Worth Township Sunday around 3:30 p.m. in the northbound lane near milemarker 101.
Police say 19-year-old Mikayla Kanalis of Brownsville lost control of her SUV and hit a car traveling in the other lane.
That car then went off the road and hit the guard rail. Police say 28-year-old Nykole Gonzalez-Mestres of Erie was a passenger in the car and suffered minor injuries. She was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital.
Kanalis and the driver of the other car were not hurt.
