Safety officials are reminding grass cutters to try and avoid sending clippings onto the road.
They say allowing grass to accumulate on the road can become a safety hazard for drivers—especially if the grass becomes wet.
If a car were to hit the grass clippings, it could cause the vehicle to lose traction and crash.
In order to avoid sending grass onto the road, experts suggest using a bag to collect the clippings, or cut in the opposite direction in order to avoid blowing grass onto the road.
