Severe weather is forecasted for Tuesday.
The National Weather Service Office in Pittsburgh issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook early this morning that forecasted an “enhanced risk” for severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening in Butler and the surrounding counties.
The main threats will be damaging wind gusts and large hail. Tornadoes are possible.
The NWS is also forecasting a “slight risk” for severe storms on Wednesday afternoon and evening. An isolated tornado is possible.
Tornadoes tore through southwestern Ohio (near Dayton) on Monday night leaving behind lots of damage.
On Saturday, the NWS confirmed that two tornadoes struck Indiana County on Saturday- the first twisters recorded in the county is more than 17 years. No injuries were reported, but there was some property damage and significant damage to trees.
