Northeastern Butler County- including places like Parker, Bruin, Petrolia and Karns City- is under a Flash Flood Warning on Friday afternoon.
The National Weather Service Office in Pittsburgh issued the warning at 12:30 p.m. It will run through 3:30 p.m. Friday.
Heavy rain and thunderstorms were forecasted for the area.
“With the ground already saturated from previous rainfall, flash flooding of streams, creeks, and roads is likely,” according to the NWS.
