A role is being created to oversee both the Harmony Fire District and the Southwestern Butler Stormwater Authority.
The newly developed position is in response to an expanding fire department and new multi-government coalition to help reduce flooding in the region.
The position will fill both the administrator role within the Harmony Fire District and executive director of the stormwater authority.
The Southwestern Butler Council of Governments will oversee the position; they are looking for a candidate with at least four years of experience in administrative work, focusing on emergency management.
