Jack Roush has announced Trevor Bayne will not return to drive the #6 car next season. Bayne had been splitting time this season with Matt Kenseth.
Seven-time NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson and two-time Formula One champion Fernando Alonso both sent Tweets of the same scripted phone call Thursday. The video of the call between them talking about the “cool things to do” at each of their locations, presumably the U.S. & Europe. The video ended with the words “Two champions. To be continued.” It left many speculating on what they are planning. Will Jimmie do a Memorial Day Monaco/Charlotte double or will we see Alonso participate in the Daytona 500?
