A local state representative has been tapped to serve as secretary for a highly respected committee.
Republican State House Minority Leader Jesse Topper chose Rep. Marci Mustello of Butler to perform the duties of Secretary of the Pennsylvania House Appropriations Committee for the 2025-2026 Legislative Session.
Previously, Mustello served as a member of the Committee and she believes “it is imperative that we maintain high standards for fiscal responsibility across all functions and I look forward to the debates and discussions.”
In two weeks, hearings will begin as state department official present funding requests and answer questions from the members.
