Police are looking into two separate hit and run accidents that happened this week in Center Township.
The first accident happened around 3:30 p.m. on North Duffy Road in Center Township.
47-year-old Leslie Lawrence was driving near the intersection with Mercer Road when she was hit by another car. She told police it was an older gray Nissan Altima with a male driver.
Lawrence was not injured in the crash.
And the second crash took place around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday on North Main Street Extension, near the intersection with Sunset Drive. Police say 72-year-old Terry McMaster of Kittanning was driving south when an SUV crossed the center line and hit his vehicle.
The driver then fled the scene in what police describe as a dark SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer.
