Crews are on the scene of a house on fire in West Liberty Borough.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center around 3 p.m. for a homeowner on Martin Road who alerted a neighbor to report a fire.
Firefighters from Slippery Rock, Unionville, Prospect, Portersville, and Harrisville were all dispatched to the scene where a large column of heavy black smoke was visible from over a mile away.
It is not known if anyone has been injured as a result of this blaze but the damage to the two story structure is believed to be extensive. The cause of the fire is also undetermined at this time.
