Butler County emergency crews have been keeping busy this morning following a number of vehicle accidents.
The Pennsylvania Turnpike saw delays in both directions after multiple crashes this morning in between the Beaver Valley and Cranberry interchanges.
Initially, both lanes were closed for a time, but it appears both directions have now reopened with lane restrictions. Details are sketchy on both accidents, but dispatchers say there was at least one person injured in the crash that happened near mile marker 18.
I-79 meanwhile had delays following a one vehicle crash near the Evans City exit. This rollover crash took place around 5:30 a.m. near mile marker 80. Crews on the scene say one person was involved in the crash, but did not suffer significant injuries.
Just before 6:30 a.m., multiple crews had to respond to a single vehicle accident on Route 356 after a car crashed into a utility pole. One person reportedly suffered an injury in that accident. Delays are expected.
