A local motorist was killed following a one car crash that occurred last week in neighboring Armstrong County.
According to our news partners at WPXI, a 17-year-old motorist was traveling on Route 66 towards Kittanning on Thursday afternoon when his SUV veered off the roadway and hit an embankment.
Authorities say that the motorist, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials believe that speed was a factor in Thursday’s crash.
