One person was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after a motorcycle crash over the weekend in Jefferson Township.
The accident happened Saturday around 4:30 p.m. on Simon Drive, about a quarter mile away from the intersection with Route 356.
Dispatchers say a man driving a motorcycle lost control of his bike and was thrown off. When crews got on scene, they had to apply a tourniquet to his leg.
A medical helicopter was called to scene and took the man to Allegheny General Hospital.
Crews remained on scene for clean up for over an hour.
