Details are being released on the motivation behind the attack on the governor’s mansion.
According to police, 38-year-old Cody Balmer allegedly set Governor Shapiro’s home on fire because of “what he wants to do to the Palestinian people.”
Charging documents say Balmer called 911 less than an hour after the attack Sunday morning.
He told dispatchers he set the mansion on fire and that he would “admit to everything.”
Balmer allegedly threw two Molotov cocktails into the dining room of the governor’s mansion.
